Katie Kowalek

Dr. Kowalek completed medical school and pediatrics residency at the University of Arizona then attended UCSF for Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship. After fellowship, she joined the Pediatric Critical Care Division of The University of Arizona Department of Pediatrics. Her main interests are undergraduate and graduate medical education. She is a core facilitator for the Clinical Reasoning Course for 1^st and 2^nd year medical students and she was appointed Associate Program Director of the Pediatrics Residency in 2021.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her son, husband, and 2 fluffy dogs.
